CORIMATEC ELECTROFORMING SOLUTIONS FOR COMPLEX GEOMETRIES

Electroforming is at the heart of our expertise in the production of copper and nickel metal parts. This process enables us to manufacture parts with complex geometrical shapes, often impossible to produce using conventional techniques. Thanks to our mastery of the process, we can guarantee thicknesses ranging from a few microns to several millimeters, tailored to the requirements of critical sectors.

COMPOSITE SOLUTIONS FOR LIGHTWEIGHT PARTS

Mastering composites is at the heart of our expertise in the manufacture of monolithic, sandwich or hollow prepreg parts.

Features of our electroformed parts

Quality and precision for custom electroformed parts

  • Production of complex parts
  • Mechanical strength and resistance to abrasion and corrosion
  • Parts with no welds, no machining, no internal stresses
  • Polishing possible for mirror-polished surfaces

CORIMATEC METAL DEPOSITION TO IMPROVE PART PROPERTIES

Corimatec offers metal deposition solutions tailored to the needs of demanding industries. Whether it's to improve mechanical properties, electromagnetic shielding or conductivity, our customized metal deposits are the perfect answer to your technical needs.

Our processes transform raw materials into functional, resistant and aesthetic parts. Ideal for the aerospace, medical and many other sectors.

Advantages of our metal deposits

The advantages of metallization for optimized technical solutions

MECHANICAL STRENGTH

Metallization significantly increases the rigidity of parts. A 65 μm deposit doubles the mechanical strength of a part, while a 125 μm deposit increases it by a factor of 5.

TEMPERATURE AND FIRE RESISTANCE

The substrate is covered and thus insulated by a thick layer of metal, which forms a metal shell around the part.

IMPACT RESISTANCE

Nickel has a surface hardness of between 15 and 40 HRC.

ABRASION AND CORROSION RESISTANCE

Nickel is an abrasion- and corrosion-resistant metal.

ELECTRICAL AND THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY

Copper is an excellent conductor
Copper resistivity: 1.98.10-8 .m at 20°C
Thermal conductivity: 395 to 405 W.m-1.K-1 at 20°.
